The Roanoke
Bars & pubs
One of Seattle's oldest bars, The Roanoke has been a neighborhood institution on the north end of Capitol Hill since the early 1900s. The building is covered in ivy (earning it the nickname "Chia Pet") and the interior features a wood-burning stove that keeps things warm in winter. The back deck is popular in summer. Known for scratch-made food including burgers, nachos, and Taco Wednesdays. Cash-only for food, cards accepted at bar.
