The Rebel

A new bar in Wallingford that opened in early 2026, taking over the space from the long-running Kate's Pub. Owner Stephanie (a Shoreline local) has created a comfortable neighborhood spot with elevated bar food, including ribeye cheesesteaks that have already earned recognition. Pool table, flat screens for sports, and a welcoming atmosphere for newcomers. Still finding its footing as a new establishment but early reviews praise the transition from Kate's.
