Targy's Tavern
Bars & pubs
A historic dive bar in Upper Queen Anne founded in 1937, named after a longshoreman nicknamed "Targy" who worked Seattle's docks. The original U-shaped bar top remains in place. Cheap drinks, bingo nights, trivia, pool, darts, and TVs for sports. Featured on KING5's "Five Star Dive Bars" segment. The atmosphere is classic Seattle tavern — unpretentious, friendly, and slightly off the beaten path. Open 4pm to 2am daily. One of the few remaining old-school neighborhood bars in the area.
