T-Mobile Park
Home of the Seattle Mariners (MLB). 47,900-seat retractable-roof stadium opened July 15, 1999. Multiple indoor and outdoor event spaces available for private rental including suites, clubs, and field-level areas. In-house catering available. Originally named Safeco Field (1999-2018), renamed T-Mobile Park January 1, 2019.
Historic note: Opened July 15, 1999 as Safeco Field under a $40 million, 20-year naming rights deal with Safeco Insurance. First game: Mariners vs. San Diego Padres. Renamed T-Mobile Park on January 1, 2019 under a $87.5 million, 25-year deal. First full field replacement after 2017 season. Center field scoreboard replaced with 11,435 sq ft board, largest in MLB at the time. Built to replace the Kingdome.
