Seattle's most storied music venue since 1991. 30,000 sq ft complex with three performance spaces (~550 main room), cafe, restaurant, bars, Hotel Crocodile. Note: In receivership as of Jan 2026.
Historic note: Opened as Crocodile Cafe on April 30, 1991 by Stephanie Dorgan at 2200 2nd Ave. Iconic grunge-era venue where Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and many others played. Closed December 2007, reopened March 2009. Relocated to current 2505 1st Ave location on December 1, 2021 as expanded multi-venue complex with main showroom (750 cap), Madame Lou's (300 cap), and Here-After theater/comedy club (100 seats). Also includes 17 hotel rooms (Hotel Crocodile).
